As far as we're concerned, summer is guacamole season! It really is the most perfect healthy dip around. While some commercial guacamole recipes call for oil, we keep our recipe plant based (oil free). Our recipe is subtly spiced to appeal to more people and children, but if you're a hot head, add extra cayenne!
This super simple recipe is great for anyone who thinks that they can't cook. If you can chop and mash, you're good! Pair the finished guacamole with some veggies, chips, crackers, or spread it on some toast for a healthy and delicious snack or light meal!

- 3 ripe avocados
- 2 vine tomatoes, or 1 hot house tomatoes
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp lemon or lime juice
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Mash all the ingredients together, either with a fork or in a blender. Adjust seasoning to your liking and serve with raw veggies or your favourite multigrain crackers or chips!
